FINALLY, Teen Wolf returns tonight for the second half of its third season. It’s a gift, really, considering that each half of this third season is the same length as each of the first two seasons, and it’s particularly terrific that we’re getting it in the winter, instead of in the summer only.
To help us get reacquainted, MTV is airing a Teen Wolf marathon today. It actually began this morning at 3am, partway into Season 2. They get to the first half of the season at 4pm/3c, and at that point will be airing the episodes with limited commercial interruption. They’re not kidding; according to my Time Warner Cable listings, each of those episode timeblocks is only 45 minutes. NICE!
If you haven’t watched this show before, WATCH IT NOW. And if you like it, use a couple of those Amazon cards you received (or never got around to giving out) and get Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3 Part 1 on DVD.
Additional catch-up help, and some insights into what’s coming our way in the half-season to come, can be found in the featurette below, after a reminder of the synopsis:
While Scott struggles to find his place as an Alpha, he, Allison and Stiles begin to experience strange side effects as a result of reigniting the power within Beacon Hills. They soon discover that the answer to their problems may be found in a new student named Kira, a girl with remarkable powers of her own.
