Excellent news today, as Our Kind of Shows-friendly The CW has announced that both The Originals and The Tomorrow People have received full season pickups. That means, for us, more The Originals and The Tomorrow People in the springtime, a full 22-episode season for each.

Hopefully that also means that The CW will give strong support to its two new midseason shows, both of which we’ve also been covering: The 100, and Star-Crossed. Thanks, The CW, keep up the great work, and congratulations to everyone involved in the production of The Originals and The Tomorrow People.

The Originals, starring Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Claire Holt, Phoebe Tonkin, and Charles Michael Davis, airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.

The Tomorrow People, starring Robbie Amell, Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, and Mark Pellegrino , airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
