Yes, yes, she DID look like Laurel when we saw her in last week’s episode, but now, for those of us who did NOT try to analyze a screen shot, we have an official screenshot from Arrow star Stephen Amell, released on his Facebook page with the caption “Facebook Friends! You get it first… Black Canary!”

And here she is, you may now take a good long look:

Definitely not Laurel. We might have wanted it to be Laurel, and some might say this one’s an imposter, but the caption says otherwise. We told you back in July that Black Canary would be played by Caity Lotz but again, maybe she’s just the first? Or maybe she is an imposter? Or maybe we just have to get used to the idea that it ain’t gonna be Laurel. IMDb has something to say about it, but spoilers. We. Shall. See.

Of course, some might be confused by that other powerful character with long blonde hair, China White, who shows up in this new TV spot for tomorrow’s new episode, “Identity”:

But it’s the caption that’s intriguing: “The times they are a changing…” Ooooo. So Laurel… well they said last week they weren’t going to continue their relationship.  Or… maybe Mr. Amell is just messing with us. Again, we shall see. Maybe even tomorrow night…
