Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has cast Keri Russell who currently stars in the FX television show The Americans. She joins Andy Serkis who will reprise his role as Caesar from Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), Kodi Smit-McPhee (ParaNorman) and Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Rises).

Variety reports that Keri Russell’s role isn’t clear as to whether she will be playing human or ape, but we know she will do great in either role (though I’m hoping she gets to stay human). This will be a reunion for Russell and director Matt Reeves who worked together on Felicity from 1998-2002.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes starring Keri Russell, Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman and Kodi Smit-McPhee is slated to hit theaters May 13, 2014.
