One of the stand-out TV shows that took San Diego’s Comic-Con 2009 by storm was the panel for HBO’s vampire drama “True Blood”.  On the panel were Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse), Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton), Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton), Alan Ball (Executive producer), Michelle Forbes (Maryann Forrester), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds), Charlaine Harris (Author of source books: The Southern Vampire Mysteries ), Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby) and Alexander Skarsgard (Eric Northman).

One of the show’s biggest announcements is the creation of an energy drink called ‘Tru Blood’ available on September 10^th.  The drink’s tag line reads, “A real blood orange beverage. Enliven yourself with this uniquely carbonated, slightly tart, lightly sweet blood orange drink. All flavor. No bite.”  You can pre-order it here.
