X-Men: First Class – January Jones, Zoë Kravitz and Morgan Lily Join The Cast

The cast of director Matthew Vaughn‘s upcoming film, X-Men: First Class seems to be adding new additions to the cast all the time. Back in July we brought you a report that Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone) had joined the cast to play young Mystique.

Now it seems that the film will take us farther into Mystique’s past… or will it? According to XMF, 10-year-old actress Morgan Lily (2012, Flipped) has been cast as an even younger version of the character but, Deadline reports that Lily will instead be playing the Young Raven. I guess we will find out which character Lily really plays in the film when we get something from “Official” channels.

Deadline also reports that January Jones (Mad Men) has been signed to play the role of Emma Frost, a role previously rumored to go to Alice Eve (She’s Out of my League), Zoë Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road) has been cast as Angel and Bill Milner (Son of Rambow) has been cast as a younger version of Michael Fassbender‘s Magneto.

The cast also includes James McAvoy, Kevin Bacon, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng and Oliver Platt.

X-Men: First Class comes to theaters June 3rd, 2011
