WONDER WOMAN: New Logo and Pics of Elizabeth Hurley From the Set Surface

David E. Kelley’s reboot of the Wonder Woman franchise with NBC rolls on full speed ahead into production. Recently, pics from the set have surfaced that give us a glimpse of Kelley’s reboot treatment. One of these pics is of a chairback bearing the show’s new logo and a little birdie has taken pics of Elizabeth Hurley on set in downtown Los Angeles as she plays the show’s villainess, Veronica Cale. Check out a sampling of these pics below.

If you’re in LA on March 29th or 30th, you might catch them filming at the Kodak Theater!

Ahem, stop for a moment and look at this new Wonder Woman logo. Is it just me or does this new logo look like it’s trying to sell you bread or some other sort of edible product?

It’s not quite the Wonder Bread logo, but the new Wonder Woman logo looks too soft and cutesy for a hero like Wonder Woman. In fact, the logo redesign looks too elementary. Heck, the logo for this cover band, Wonder Bread 5, carries off a similar look but executes it MUCH better.

I think I prefer the animated Wonder Woman logo over this new candy-coated one. This logo conveys the strength and tenacity of Wonder Woman.

Can’t say I dig the look of this Wonder Woman logo. If this is an indication of how this reboot is taking shape, then I am really hoping that this doesn’t turn out to be a live-action Powerpuff Girls episode.
