This week we’re covering Chutes: Jesse’s Vlog.

I think it’s appropriate, for a web series about time travel, that I experienced it backwards, which is the way I’m presenting it to you today. I discovered Chutes: Jesse’s Vlog and enjoyed the available five episodes (as of this post) about a young man who seems to be kept against his will by a group of time travelers who use wormhole-like “chutes” to travel in time.

It was only after seeing these episodes that I discovered Chutes 1.5, which is a two-episode series featuring the ‘kidnappers,’ though the sister seems to have been recast for Jesse’s Vlog.

Upon further digging I discovered the eleven episodes of Chutes and Ladders, which I’m going through presently. I’m posting the teasers for each of the three parts of this series, from most recent to oldest. Chutes: Jesse’s Vlog and Chutes 1.5 are both available at the Chutesonline YouTube Channel and Chutes and Ladders is available at the ChutesandLaddersWeb YouTube Channel.

The whole series is great, and the acting and writing get better and better. Jesse’s Vlog is done stationary in a room (so far), so it’s lower in production, but the acting and writing are pretty terrific.

I give Chutes: Jesse’s Vlog Five out of Five Stars.
