Warner Bros. have purchased Colin Trevorrow‘s script, World War X. The project has been set-up with Joel Silver and Andrew Rona of Warner Bros.-based Silver Pictures which is currently developing The Apparition and Sherlock Holmes 2.

World War X centers on a man recruited by a team of government agents to stop a terrorist from the future who is using time travel to reshape history.
