universalpictureslogowide

We’ve been reporting on Universal’s Dracula movie for several months now, but it has been a confusing ride with all the title switching. The film, which is to follow the descent of Prince Vlad into Count Dracula, was originally titled Dracula: Year Zero, then it was titled just Dracula, and now it’s to be called Dracula Untold.

This according to Deadline, and it’s also been pushed from the previously reported August 8, 2014 to a much more fitting spooky fall release of October 3, 2014.

Luke Evans (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) will be the lead with Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger), Sarah Gadon (Happy Town) , Charlie Cox (Stardust), and Samantha Barks (Les Misérables) all set to co-star.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted on the latest for Dracula Untold staring Luke Evans, Dominic Cooper, Sarah Gadon, Charlie Cox, and Samantha Barks which is slated to hit theaters October 3, 2014.
