Hot on the heels of the box office success of Despicable Me 2, Universal Pictures has announced that Despicable Me 3 will be heading to a theater near you in 2017. But that’s not all. That same year they also plan to release a new version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

In Deadline’s article they said that the How the Grinch Stole Christmas would be a “newly imagined” version, so no specification if it’s “newly imagined” live action or “newly imagined” animation.
