Transformers 3: Alan Tudyk Reveals Details On His Role


Sci-Fi stalwart, Alan Tudyk (“Firefly”, Serenity, “Dollhouse”, “V”) was cast in Michael Bay‘s upcoming installment in the Transformers franchise, Transformers 3 back in May. At the time, Paramount Pictures confirmed Tudyk’s casting  in the film but they were keeping his role under wraps. Now, in a recent interview, Tudyk revealed his role in the upcoming movie.

Tudyk told FromHollywoodWithLove that he is playing a Sector Seven Agent:

“John Turturro’s character, who has been in the other two movies, Agent Simmons. I’m a fellow agent of his that is sort of his assistant and weapons expert, computer hacker, cyber sleuth.”

Transformers 3 is slated to hit theaters on July 1st, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey and Alan Tudyk.
