THE WALKING DEAD: Check Out The Real Opening Credits

Even though the real opening credit sequence for AMC’s The Walking Dead isn’t as genre-embracing and spunky as the fan-made sequence that excited everyone a few weeks ago, it gets to the point that series producer Frank Darabont and comic series creator Robert Kirkman had in mind – that this is a story about human survival.

Bear McCreary, who composed notable music for much of sci-fi television’s music including BSG, Caprica, Eureka, and Human Target, composed the theme for The Walking Dead.
