I say this latest tweet from director Wes Ball, for his latest film, The Maze Runner, is loaded because I’m including both the picture tweet and his previous tweet. I can do that. In his previous-to-the-picture tweet he announces this will be the second to last picture (BUMMER!) but something else will be holding our attention (TEASER? TRAILER? GRIEVER??).
And if these pictures are building to a climax, like so many storytellers like to do, then this is quite the penultimate picture. It’s our first still of Kaya Scodelario and we have her in the [redacted, because SPOILER]. I mean when I first saw this picture at a glance I was like, Yay! her character Teresa should have a least one of these and then I looked at [redacted, because SPOILER], and YOU ALL WHAT THE WHAT.

The Maze Runner starring Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, Ki Hong Lee, Aml Ameen, Dexter Darden, Blake Cooper and Patricia Clarkson is slated to hit theaters September 19, 2014.
