Sweet Tooth’s Jeff Lemire to Draw Jonah Hex

It was announced today that writer/artist Jeff Lemire (Sweet Tooth, The Essex County Trilogy) will take over from artist  Rafa Garres on Jonah Hex starting with issue #69 in July. Lemire has his hands in many pots these days, not only writing and drawing Sweet Tooth, but also writing stories for Superboy and Flashpoint: Frankenstein and Creatures of the Unknown.

Jeff got his start when he self published the Xeric-Award winning Lost Dogs in 2005. In 2008, he was picked up by Top Shelf Productions where he wrote and illustrated the Eisner and Harvey nominated Essex County Trilogy. He made his move to Vertigo in 2009 with The Nobody, a story inspired by H.G. Wells The Invisible Man. Look for his work on Jonah Hex #69 this July.
