Summit Entertainment (“Twilight” movies) is taking on an action re-make of Dracula with twice-Sexiest Man by People magazine, Brad Pitt!  Hold your horses, Pitt is producing through his Plan B company, not acting in this rendition titled, “Vlad”, as penned by actor Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy).  Music video director and photographer Anthony Mandler (Rhianna, the Killers, Eminem videos) is tapped to direct the project.

This re-imagining presents a young Prince Vlad The Impaler, the man behind the Dracula myth.  Summit has been impressed by Mandler’s reel where he referenced Zack Snyder’s “300”.  Summit is hoping to make a “visually edge and radical period movie that also will break a new talent”.
