Nearly everyone except Carl was onstage for this panel, and it was great to see them all looking so rested and healthy. Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden,  and Norman Reedus, plus special effects amaze-man Greg Nicotero, showrunner Frank Darabont, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, and writer Robert Kirkman.

The big news was the release of the premiere date for season two: OCTOBER 16 AT 9 PM. For those of you surprised that it wasn’t closer to Halloween, the producers said they couldn’t wait that long.  There really wasn’t any other new information in this panel that was pertinent to the show; it’s all been covered in other interviews, including one posted here. It was still fun seeing them live; see the photo gallery after the clip.

Yes, the clip, the premiere of the season two promo, which was premiered here and then posted online immediately thereafter; we were therefore allowed to feel special for about one minute. STILL, it is breathtaking. We watched it twice:

The Walking Dead Season Two will premiere on Sunday, October 16 at 9/8c on AMC.
