Relativity’s Remake of THE CROW Loses ANOTHER Director

Back in August, Bradley Cooper (The Words) who was signed on to star as Eric Draven in Relativity Media‘s totally unnecessary and much maligned remake of The Crow, exited the role supposedly due to scheduling conflicts between production of The Crow and production of the Alex Proyas directed Paradise Lost.

We now have the second bit of “good news” about the proposed remake of The Crow by Relativity Media. According to TwitchFilm, director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later, Intruders) who was slated to start shooting the remake early next year has also departed the project. The site reports that director F. Javier Gutiérrez (Before the Fall, Monkey’s Paw) is being floated as a possible replacement.

Relativity’s remake of The Crow will hopefully never make it to theaters.
