Relativity’s SNOW WHITE: First Look At Lily Collins as Snow White; Sean Bean Is The King!

Over the past few months, we’ve brought you casting news populating the world of Relativity’s yet Untitled Snow White project. We’ve got Lily Collins as Snow White, Oscar-winner Julia Roberts and the Evil Queen, Armie Hammer as the Prince, the seven dwarves to be played by Mark Povinelli, Jordan Prentice, Danny Woodburn, Sebastian Saraceno, Ronald Lee Clark, Martin Klebba and Joey Gnoffo, and lastly, for comedic element, Nathan Lane as the Queen’s servant and Robert Emms as the Prince’s valet.

Adding royal gravitas to the cast for this Untitled Snow White film to be directed by Tarsem Singh (Immortals, The Cell) is the ever sword-in-hand actor Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings) as the King.

Now, we have our first look at Lily Collins as Snow White. Doesn’t she look like she’s asking, “Does this forest make my corset look big?”

Relativity’s Snow White film is indeed in competition with Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, starring Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, and Charlize Theron. It’s interesting that Relativity moved up their premiere date to March of 2012 to beat Universal’s release date in June but still does not have a name for their film. Relativity is already one month into filming and will wrap in mid-September.

Synopsis:

In Relativity’s Snow White, a spectacular reimagining of the classic fairy tale, an evil queen steals control of a kingdom, and an exiled princess enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright in a spirited adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over.

Cast includes Oscar®-winner Julia Roberts plays the Queen, Lily Collins (The Blind Side) plays Snow White, Armie Hammer (The Social Network) plays Prince Andrew Alcott, Robert Emms (Anonymous) plays Prince Alcott’s valet, Renbock, and Nathan Lane (The Lion King, The Birdcage) plays the Queen’s hapless and bungling servant, Brighton. The Seven Dwarfs are being played by Mark Povinelli (Water for Elephants), Jordan Prentice (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle), Danny Woodburn (Watchmen), Sebastian Saraceno (Bedtime Stories), Ronald Lee Clark (Epic Movie), Martin Klebba (Pirates of the Caribbean series) and Joey Gnoffo (The Benchwarmers). The studio has also cast Mare Winningham (Brothers) as Baker Margaret and Michael Lerner (Elf) as Baron and most recently Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) as the King.

The as yet Untitled Snow White Project is slated to hit theaters on March 16th, 2012.
