PARADISE LOST: Dominic Purcell Joins Lucifer’s Army

Casting news continues to roll in for Legendary’s adaptation of John Milton’s epic 17th-century poem, Paradise Lost, directed by Alex Proyas. Yesterday, we confirmed that Diego Boneta (Rock of Ages, 90210) has been cast in the role of Adam opposite Camilla Belle’s (10,000 B.C., Push) Eve.

According to THR, Dominic Purcell (Straw Dogs, Prison Break) has been cast as Jerahmeel, “an angel who falls in with Lucifer and ultimately becomes the Dark One’s right-hand man as the renamed Moloch.”

Lucifer (Bradley Cooper) and Michael (Benjamin Walker), God’s greatest archangels, share the bond of extraordinary friendship until God produces his greatest creation: Man. Unable to remain subservient to God if it means bowing down to humanity, Lucifer begins his dark descent and is cast out – only to plot his revenge.

Paradise Lost begins production at the turn of the year in Sydney is slated to hit theaters in 2013.
