As a continuation of our coverage of the eighty-second annual Oscars, I’d like to show you another Academy-award nominee for “Best Animated Short”, called “The Lady and the Reaper”. “The Lady and the Reaper” aka “La Dama Y La Muerte” is an animated short film from Spanish filmmaker Javier Recio Gracia who wrote and directed the short.

[Commentary]

I was so tickled by this short. It was hilarious and had great pacing to it. I hope you stayed through the credits. I practically fell over laughing when Cerberus, the three-headed poodle came on screen. And that Death locked his ferry boat like a car! LOL! It was as funny as The Doctor locking the Tardis like a car while visiting the Ood in “The End of Time”. Ok, so maybe I’m easily amused, but I am rooting for this short FTW.
