Earlier this month, we told you that Adelaide Clemens (Generation Um…, Mad Max: Fury Road) and Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) had both signed on to star in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. Samuel Hadida and Don Carmody (Resident Evil: Afterlife) are producing the film, directed by Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane, Deathwatch).

At the time we were unsure about any of the original Silent Hill cast-members returning for the sequel. Now, Davis Films has announced that Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean and Deborah Kara Unger will also be returning to the town of Silent Hill.

Director Michael J. Bassett said,

“It wouldn’t be the same without some of the original Silent Hill cast. Sean, Radha and Deborah’s return will certainly thrill fans of the franchise and compliment Revelations stars Adelaide and Kit.”

On the 3D element of the sequel, cinematographer Maxime Alexandre said:

“Devotees will finally be able to enter this realm alongside of Heather, Vincent, Harry and Rose and experience the psychological horror and the fear of the unknown with them.”

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is slated to hit theaters in 2011.
