Do we think it a coincidence that, so far at least, every fairy tale that takes center stage in Disney-owned ABC‘s Once Upon a Time is a fairy tale that was made into a Disney animated feature film? And that every time we see/hear/read about another one, songs from that movie spring to mind and will not be easily extracted?

EOnline broke the story that Sage Brockelbank – no, that’s his real name, not his fairy tale name, though we like it as both – will be playing the obnoxious blowhard hunter from Beauty and the Beast, a far cry from his current gig as a Santa Barbara Police Department officer on Psych.

The Beauty and the Beast episode – though Gaston would of course call it the GASTON episode – will be the 12th in the season, scheduled to air on February 12. We suggest you watch it; after all, we hear that in a wrestling match nobody bites like Gaston.

Once Upon a Time airs Sunday nights at 8/7c on ABC.
