Hot on the heels of yesterday’s press release comes a new trailer for the much-anticipated Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and yes, we get new footage! We hoped that this series would have heart (not the roll-our-eyes kind) and snark (also not the roll-our-eyes kind) and some great action because this is Joss Whedon‘s show. So far we’ve mostly seen a little snark and some action and a bit of stiff dialogue.

Today we get a better look at the show, including longer looks at previously released scenes plus a couple of cool camera angles, and it gives me hope for more substance than the previous footage indicated:

Way to build the excitement, ABC! Now, how about just premiering it a little early? Like… NOW?
