The God of Thunder is back for more universal smackdown in Marvel‘s Thor: The Darkworld. Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston will all be back reprising their roles while a couple of new villains have been added to the mix with the exceptional talents of Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who) and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje whom you might remember as Mr. Eko from a little television show called Lost.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje took some time to talk a little bit to The L.A. Times about his character Algrim and his 40 pound costume.

“It’s an amalgamation of a bull and a lava-like creature,” he said. “He has very animalistic tendencies but with this insatiable and unstoppable power. As an actor, that’s one of the hardest things to embody. You have to realize you are probably the most powerful thing you could imagine. And you have to be that. You can’t pretend, so that when you face Thor, it’s real.”

But that’s not all! We also have a new production still from the set featuring Chris Hemsworth and director Alan Taylor.
