More Great Pilot News as NBC Picks Up Eric Kripke’s REVOLUTION

Hey kids, is it possible that we’re actually becoming popular? Another sci-fi pilot has been given the green light by a network! This time it’s NBC, and they’ve given the green light to the pilot written by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke, and executive produced by J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk (which presumably means – let’s say it together – “Bad Robot!”).

The hour-long series is called Revolution, though that may change since ABC is currently airing a daytime series entitled “The Revolution.” TVLine first broke the news, and reports that the series is described as a “high-octane action drama” about a group of people who are “struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.”

I wondered momentarily why the sudden absence of energy would cause loved ones to be not united, until I realized how far away I am from my loved ones in the absence of cars and planes and cell phones and hey wait a second – THE INTERNET! NOOOOO!

As always, we’ll keep you posted.
