Millennium Moves From CONAN THE BARBARIAN To Vampire-Hunting Jungle Mercenaries

Millennium Films/ Nu Image is gearing up for their next project now that Conan the Barbarian, starring Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Stargate: Atlantis) is out in theaters. This next project also has a supernatural twist with a plot that involves jungle mercenaries.

According to THR, Millennium has picked up an untitled spec script from action actor Paul Sloan (Stiletto, The Scorpion King). This supernatural action script is described to have been “inspired by pulp heroes Doc Savage and Tarzan, and centers on a team of mercenaries whose search for a missing person in the jungles of Cambodia becomes a descent into the heart of darkness as they confront the dark force of a vampire.”

Millennium aims to begin shooting in early 2012 and are already looking for a director to helm the project. Frank De Martini, Leo Amari, and Richard Salvatore are producing the project.

So, what do you think so far? Will this sink or swim in the jungle of the Hollywood stream?
