Michael Chiklis Is A Superhero Dad In NO ORDINARY FAMILY And Launches Own Comic Series


Michael Chiklis (“The Shield”, The Thing in “Fantastic Four”) is cast as the father of a family whose members all have superpowers in ABC’s pilot for a drama called “No Ordinary Family”. This pilot was created by Jon Feldman (“Tru Calling”)and Greg Berlanti (“Eli Stone”). Berlanti is also one of the writers and producers for the upcoming “Green Lantern” film. Feldman and Berlanti had worked together on another ABC show, “Dirty Sexy Money”.

The Emmy-winning and Thing actor, Chiklis, also is coming out with a comic book series through IDW called “Pantheon” due out in April of this year. The comic book series had been originally titled “Olympus” and follows “the return of the Greek gods to Earth on the eve of Armageddon as they battle the Titans for humanity’s fate”. Chiklis created the series with Anny Simon Beck, and comic veteran Marc Andreyko (“Manhunter”). The first mini-series run will span five issues with art by Stephen Molnar and covers by Joe and Rob Sharp.
