Marvel Studios President of Production, Kevin Feige recently sat down for an interview and gave up a status update on Edgar Wright‘s proposed Ant-Man adaptation. Feige stated that production on the film could begin after the The Avengers film finishes production and said he’s spoken to Wright about the time-line.

“We sat down, and we started working on a calendar of when to get him back into it once [Wright] finishes promoting Scott Pilgrim, so I think towards the end of this year, early next year we’d start looking at early prep for that, but certainly for a release date after The Avengers,” he said.
