Mads Mikkelsen Will Not Be The Villain of THOR 2 After All


News on the Thor 2 front has been hot these last few days with Zachary Levi confirming his role as Fandral. Now, we’ve got news on the villain-side of casting. Back in May, we brought you news that Casino Royale baddie, Mads Mikkelsen, had been cast as “one of the villains” in the upcoming sequel to the Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones) helmed Thor.

In an interview with Zoomin Movies, Mikkelsen says that he had to turn down the role in Thor 2 due to scheduling conflicts with his role as Hannibal Lecter in NBC’s television series, Hannibal. Check out the interview below:

Thor 2 is slated to hit theaters on November 8th, 2013.
