We reported back in early November that John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson had teamed up for a new movie, an adaptation of a Stephen King novel, The Cell. A story about a mass of chaos that began with a cell phone. Here’s the synopsis from the book.
WHERE WERE YOU ON OCTOBER 1ST AT 3:03 P.M.?
Graphic artist Clay Riddell was in the heart of Boston on that brilliant autumn afternoon when hell was unleashed before his eyes. Without warning, carnage and chaos reigned. Ordinary people fell victim to the basest, most animalistic destruction.
And the apocalypse began with the ring of a cell phone….
According to Deadline, Isabelle Fuhrman (who we most recently enjoyed as Clove in The Hunger Games) has been cast as Alice, opposite Samuel L. Jackson.
We’ll be sure and keep you posted on the latest for The Cell, starring John Cusack, Isabelle Fuhrman and Samuel L. Jackson.
