Is Marvel Bringing THE INHUMANS To The Big Screen?

After the release of the Joss Whedon directed Marvel film, The Avengers, we know that writer/director Shane Black will be tackling Iron Man 3, and Edgar Wright‘s adaptation of Ant-Man is (hopefully) still very much in the pipeline. Then what? Well, up until today, we weren’t quite sure. Would they bring the live-action Doctor Strange or Black Panther to theaters? Maybe, but it also looks like studio is gearing up for another superhero team-up film.

According to Devin over at Badass Digest, is seems that Marvel may be looking to bring The Inhumans, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby to the big-screen. As stated in a logline found by Devin –

“Aliens who were put on Earth as sleeper cell aliens to eventually call back their race to take over the planet. Ultimately, the group of aliens fully assimilates and don’t want to cause war.”

The Inhumans were created by the Kree in experiments on primitive humans, millions of years ago. The Kree abandoned their experiments, and the Inhumans went on to form a society of their own, which is led by their king, Black Bolt, and his Royal Family, consisting of Medusa, Karnak, Gorgon, Triton, Crystal, Maximus the Mad, and the canine Lockjaw who all live in Attilan, the oxygen-bearing  Blue Area of the Moon.

The Inhumans is out to writers, and currently has no production or release date.
