Information Starts to Roll In on GAME OF THRONES Season 3

It’s a long, long way from now until next April, if that indeed is when Season 3 premieres, but we are dedicated to bringing you every bit of information bestowed upon us about the production of the next season of HBO‘s Game of Thrones.

Today we bring you news of the list of writers, directors, and countries that will serve as the locales of the next season. EW reports that showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will continue as writers, along with Bryan Cogman, Vanessa Taylor, and author of the books upon which the show is based, George R.R. Martin.

Directors for Season 3 will include the showrunners themselves, as well as Alex Graves, Michelle MacLaren, Dan Minahan, David Nutter and Alik Sakharov.

Locations will once again see our gang heading off to Belfast, Iceland, and Croatia, but for Season 3 the lucky ones will also get to enjoy the loveliness of Morocco, reportedly for Daenerys’ storyline.

So, with that out of the way, can the months of casting announcements be far behind?

Game of Thrones Season Three is expected to premiere in Spring 2013 on HBO.
