I Am Number Four: New Theatrical Trailer Unleashes More Footage

Over the past couple of weeks, DreamWorks debuted the first two posters for the highly anticipated big-screen adaptation of the young-adult science fiction book by James Frey and Jobie Hughes (under the pen name Pittacus Lore) entitled, I Am Number Four. Now, they have released the theatrical trailer, which shows off much more footage than the teaser trailer that we brought you back in September. Check it out below!

The film is directed by D.J. Caruso (Eagle Eye) and stars Alex Pettyfer (Beastly), Jake Abel (The Lovely Bones), Timothy Olyphant (Justified), Kevin Durand (Real Steel), Dianna Agron (Glee), Callan McAuliffe (Flipped) and Teresa Palmer (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice).

Trailer: I Am Number Four

An extraordinary young man, John Smith, is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri, John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events — his first love, powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.

I Am Number Four is slated to hit theaters on February 18th, 2011.
