GRIMM: New Poster and Information About the NBC Mythological Crime Drama

NBC recently sent out a press release regarding its fall primetime preview show, titled, not too mysteriously, The NBC Primetime Preview Show. It’s a 30-minute show that will be aired “via multiple broadcast, digital, NBCUniversal and cable entities”; in other words, you’ll have to check your local listings, or look for it online.

But here’s the really interesting part: in describing the preview show, NBC gave a brief summary of we’re-really-looking-forward-to-this-show Grimm that was slightly different from previous summaries, so we thought you’d like to see it:

Grimm — premiering Friday, October 21, 9-10 p.m. ET) — is a new drama series inspired by the classic Grimm Fairy Tales. Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli, Turn the Beat Around) discovers he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as “Grimms,” charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. As he tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from his fiancée Juliette Silverton, (Bitsie TullochQuarterlife) and his partner Hank Griffith (Russell Hornsby, Lincoln Heights), he becomes ever more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world.

Really, really want to see this show. They have now also released a new marketing ad for the show, posted by TVLine on August 15, and although we’ve seen at least part of this pic before, this one more clearly includes the creepy.

Bring it!

Check your local listings for The NBC PrimeTime Preview Show now through September 25.

Grimm premieres on Friday, October 21 at 9/8c on NBC.
