Warner Bros. upcoming adaptation of Green Lantern is set to begin filming later this month, though Nola.com is reporting that test shooting has already begun. They reported that test footage for Green Lantern was filmed at section of Lake Road in Madisonville, Louisiana.

The report also stated that, according to Bill Doyle — the supervising location manager for Green Lantern, the film crew would be shooting test runs with a stunt car.

Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, and Blake Lively as Carol Ferris, and is slated to hit theaters on June 17th, 2011.
