FUTURAMA’s Return Greeted By Strong Ratings

The eagerly awaited return of the animated series “Futurama” on Comedy Central this June has garnered strong ratings.  It logged 2.9 million viewers last week and snagged the crown for the network’s winning show among young men for Thursdays as well as being the highest rated night for Comedy Central.

Aside from “South Park” that could attract more than three million viewers per episode during its seasons, these numbers make “Futurama” the strongest premiere for an animated show on cable.

Watch “Futurama” on Comedy Central, Thursdays at 10/9C.
