Eureka/Warehouse 13/Alphas Gives Syfy Its Most Powerful Monday Night in Ten Years

Monday, July 11 saw the Syfy premieres of Eureka Season 4.5, Warehouse 13 Season 2, and the series premiere of Alphas, the lineup that Syfy has been promoting as “Powerful Mondays.” That tagline proved to be prescient, as the numbers for the night came in; the July 11 8-11 pm timeslot was Syfy’s highest Monday time period audience for scripted series in over 10 years.

Alphas led the way with 2.5 million total viewers, the most-watched channel debut in two years. Each of the shows averaged more than two million viewers. Now this is what we’re talking about! Way to step up and watch the shows, sci-fi- tv lovers!

Now let’s keep  the momentum going into Friday and give Haven an equally impressive – or even better – jumpstart to their second season, which debuts at 10/9c. Together, we CAN help encourage the production and support of scripted shows on the channel which, if we take the pronunciation of its name seriously, has the potential to be showing nothing but our favorite kind of shows. See what I did there? Come on, let’s do this!
