[Commentary]

The series premiere didn’t totally disappoint, but I felt that it only drew out a lukewarm reaction from me.  It wasn’t interesting enough to make me say, “OMG, I MUST see the next episode!”, but I might take a gander at a few more eps before I ditch the show. Ratings have been lukewarm as well: 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 8.5 million viewers.  It’s not bad, but it’s not a strong start.  Heck, there are a whole lot of quality new shows out this fall and my DVR schedule is mighty full this season!

Now that I think about it, I get a bigger kick out of trying to figure out the re-use of sets as it’s filmed on the same backlot used for “Gilmore Girls” and “Terminator: TSCC” than watching these three women discover their witchy powers.
