DOLLHOUSE Series Finale Bumped For Haiti Aid Telethon

Just a note for Whedonites, “Dollhouse” has been bumped for the George Clooney Telethon benefitting the earthquake victims in Haiti on January 22nd.  The “Dollhouse” season and series finale will now air on January 29th at 7pm ET.  So don’t fret, “Epitaph Two: Return” is just bumped one week and will still air.

The Haiti Aid event will be hosted in Los Angeles by George Clooney and will air on eleven networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, The CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, CMT, CNN International, National Geographic and MTV and possibly even more to sign up.  The variety show telethon will air at 8pm ET, 5pm PT on January 22nd.  Haitian musician Wyclef Jean will co-host the show from New York with CNN’s Anderson Cooper reporting from Haiti.  Donations can be made online or by phone.  Proceeds go towards Oxfam America, Partners in Health, the Red Cross, UNICEF and Yele Haiti Foundation.

Celebrity appearance and acts for the telethon have not been confirmed, but word is that Oprah Winfrey, Paris Hilton, Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may lend their celebrity weight to the cause.
