DOLLHOUSE Ratings Not Improving Though These Last Episodes Rock!

These last few episodes of Fox’s “Dollhouse” have been unarguably phenomenal, but the ratings have not reflected the quality of the show. As it returned to air the remainder of its second season on December 4th, “Dollhouse” scored a 0.8 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.17 million viewers.  The following week “Dollhouse” garnered an bit of an uptick in ratings with 1.0 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.72 viewers.  This past week, “Dollhouse” logged 0.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers.

Dollhouse” returns with its last few episodes of the series in January starting the Friday, the 8th, airing weekly till its finale on January 22nd.

[Commentary]

I don’t know about you, but I have found these last few episodes of “Dollhouse” mesmerizingly well-written and incredibly dynamic in both storyline and richness in talent of the actors.  I was especially blown away by Enver Gjokaj in “The Public Eye” and Summer Glau in “The Left Hand”. It seems like this exhibition of forward momentum is too late for most viewers, but those of us still loyal to the show know what an awesome series this could have been!
