We recently brought you a report that writers Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (Conan) were hired by Marvel Studios to develop a screenplay for their adaptation of Doctor Strange. Now, Patrick Dempsey (Transformers 3) has reportedly expressed interest in the lead role.

According to Bleeding Cool, comic book artist Arne Starr created the piece below which got Dempsey seen by Marvel Studios.
