This past weekend, box office tallies show a strong showing for Disney’s first African American princess, “The Princess and the Frog” with $25 million.  “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” falls nearly 48% from the previous week’s intake to only about $8 million this week.

“New Moon” was also beaten by “The Blind Side” AND Clint Eastwood’s “Invictus” this last weekend.  “New Moon” has still raked in a total of more than $260 million in the US alone.
