‘Dark Horse Presents’ Returns To Myspace

Dark Horse’s monthly webcomics series has returned to MySpace indefinitely after a one-month absence.

MySpace Dark Horse Presents did not appear in July due to massive layoffs at the social networking site. The service has now resumed, with issue #25 now available.

Its latest release contains a Buffy The Vampire Slayer story by Jane Espenson and Karl Moline, along with new work by Matt Kindt, Matt Sundstrom, and duo Adam Gallardo and Todd Demong.

A special two-year anniversary issue, due to appear on the site last month, has also been made available alongside the new releases.

“We’ve been working on this ever since the cutbacks at MySpace caused the gap,” Dark Horse editor Scott Allie told CBR.

“The goal all along has been to get MDHP back up on MySpace in the same place that it’s always been because we feel that, even with the changes at MySpace, the project is still something that we’re very, very proud of.

“There’s still a tremendous amount of traffic despite the cutbacks, and we feel like it’s still a great opportunity for us. We didn’t want to let this sudden economic problem kill something we’d been involved with for a while.”

MySpace Dark Horse Presents debuted in July 2007. Its entire back catalogue is currently available via the site.
