CLASH OF THE TITANS Gets A Bigger Budget And Added Scenes

Sam Worthington says his next film, the remake of Clash of the Titans, is being rewarded with additional scenes and may be converted to 3D. Usually when cast and crew return to film re-shoots etc., it’s often a sign of production troubles. Worthington admits that some footage does need fixing with the reshoots, he insists that Warner Bros is actually so pleased with the Clash of the Titans footage it has seen so far that it’s increasing the budget to add some more scenes and more gods.

Worthington said,

“We’re going to be going back and shooting more scenes for it, they cut loose with some money so we can add to it.”

He said the extra filming would take place in January, on a tight schedule:

“We’re going to be right up against it – the movie comes out in March.”

Worthington added,

“There were some creaky parts but they are the parts that we knew were creaky and that we knew were going to be creaky going into it. The studio is also letting us add some gods and scenes. And they’re talking about making the movie a 3D film.”
