According to Variety, McDonough is in negotiations to portray Dum Dum Dugan. In the comic book series, Dugan is Nick Fury’s right-hand man and second in command of the Howling Commandos.

[The Shakedown]

Ironically, McDonough was my first choice to play Dugan when we first heard that the Howling Commandos would be part of the film. McDonough used to be one of those “hey, I know that guy from something” kind of actors when he showed up on screen but, ever since he played Lt. Lynn ‘Buck’ Compton in Band of Brothers, I’ve known his name and been a fan.

What do you think, will he make a good Dum Dum Dugan? Let me know in the comments.
