The new trailer for Oz: The Great and Powerful is by far the greatest that I’ve seen so far, and I suppose it would be, this close to the premiere date. It’s just beautiful with a wonderful shot of a tea pot city and what looks like a great scene of the Wicked Witch herself in flight. All right, I give ol’ James Franco a hard time for his “acting abilities” but I’ve got to give him credit for the things he, and everyone else, does when reacting to a green screen. This 13 minute featurette shows you a really good look at what these sets look like before the magical wand of technology is waved over them.

I don’t know about you, but I find both of these videos completely mesmerizing. I cannot wait.
