Albert Torres Hired to Pen Script for Live Action BEN 10 Feature Film

Last summer, we brought you the news when the Cartoon Network signed a deal with Silver Pictures to develop a live action, feature film version of their animated series BEN 10. The series focuses on a boy named Ben Tennyson who gets his hands on an alien, watch-like device called the Omnitrix, that allows him to turn into various alien creatures, which he uses to fight evil, with the help of his cousin Gwen, and Grandpa Max.

Now, Variety reports that Albert Torres (Henry Poole Is Here), who most recently rewrote the Akira script for Warner Bros. Pictures has been hired by Silver Pictures to write the script for the big-screen project.

No production or release dates have been announced for BEN 10.
