Actress Joey King Drops A Spoiler About THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

In May of last year, we brought you the news when young actress Joey King (Battle: Los Angeles, Oz: The Great and Powerful)scored a role in director Christopher Nolan‘s forthcoming, and final installment in his Warner Bros. Pictures Bat-trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises.

In a recent interview with Canada’s My Entertainment World, the 13 year-old may have dropped the biggest spoiler about the film so far.

When asked if it was intimidating being on the cast of The Dark Knight Rises, King responded –

“It was so cool, I had an amazing time. I got to travel to places I’d never been to before. Christopher Nolan is so nice, so is Christian Bale. I just had the best time.”

When asked what her role is in the film, King may have revealed more than Nolan would have liked.

King said,

“I play young Talia al Ghul. I can’t give too much away because I promised Mr. Nolan I wouldn’t say anything. There are too many secrets about the character and the movie.”

Like most of you, I thought this was more of a confirmation of what we had all presumed, rather than a spoiler. Of course with a “young Talia al Ghul”, there must be an older Talia al Ghul… which convinces us further that Marion Cotillard is not playing “Miranda Tate” any more than Liam Neeson played Henri Ducard in Batman Begins.
