To read of how the Wonderland television series came to where it is today, you might think we were playing a game of hot potato. The drama has made its way from ABC Studios to NBC with production done by their own Universal TV. Wonderland is a modern day Alice in Wonderland produced by Anthony Zuiker (creator of CSI), and it sure does sound fantastic.

Wonderland follows a new heroine, Clara, who seeks out the fabled world in hopes to find answers about events that occurred 7 years in her past. All this comes at a cost as she must go up against Alice, the reigning Queen of Wonderland.

Waging war against Queen Alice? Nice twist. The script according to Deadline will be writeen by Whit Anderson, and there is no casting news as of yet to report. But pay attention because Wonderland is not to be confused with another similarly titled project, Wunderland (also an Alice and Wonderland reimagining) that is under works at The CW.
